Note-Taking for Inventors focuses on tracking the inventive process. While developing an idea, inventors' notes should act as a functional resource for their projects. Participants in this class will learn to consistently record: The Problem: Clearly define the specific issue they are trying to solve. The Physics/Mechanics: Track exact measurements, formulas (e.g., F = ma), and materials. Functional Constraints: Record what an invention cannot do, such as manufacturing limits, budget constraints, or safety parameters. Brainstormed Ideas: Always leave space for uninhibited "what if" ideas that might solve their current technical roadblock.
