About this event
Pentimenti Producer Brian Ashby screens a visual mixtape of rarities, deep cuts, and anomalous moments culled from 17 years of patient observation of Chicago music on stages, studios, and streets. A combination of retrospective and a work-in-progress, expect a spontaneous constellation from Ashby’s archive, plus as-yet-unseen performance and process captured for his ongoing documentary with Damon Locks & Black Monument Ensemble. One night only!
